i love my dremel and not so fond of sealing

half a dozen projects in different stages of sanding, sealing :( and painting before i spilled half a bottle of sealer.   errgghh.  soon i will have photos of actual finished minis:)   i have an idea for one of my kits and i'm looking for a gargoyle.  one that would be perching on a dormer. anyone have any ideas?

more projects

well, now my current project (market/cafe) has splintered off into other mini ;) projects.  This is the beginnings of my first canister which i found on casey's blog. (Love her blog btw:). this next photo is what it looks like so far- i found some paper that i had bought for scrapbooking (which never really happened).

my mother used to make 1:12 room scenes in the middle of 1:1 wreaths.  a few days ago she brought me a coffee table that she had used in one of them. it had a mini coffee mug hot glued to it and some other glue remnants.  i started "redesigning" it before i thought to take the "before" picture but this is close.
so now it looks like this
on top of a plastic mini crate with one of its legs.
i have ideas but progress is slow going. more on the table and where it's going later.

current project

this is bakery that i made out of the general store kit about 20 years ago. it has seen better days. my thoughts are to transform it into a market/cafe

successful daytrip

after a slow start ...windshield wipers stopped working about 30 minutes into the trip so we had to turn around and get the other car. these are the spoils from the trip:)

Welcome to Berriland!

Hi! I'm berri and i've just rekindled my love affair with miniatures.  I'm just starting out again after a 20 year interruption.  In my blog I hope to share thoughts, ideas, some of my creations and maybe some non-mini stuff as well.
I am so inspired by all of the blogs and websites devoted to miniatures out there.
